Important stuff today – The National Bike Registry. Aside from locking your bike (properly!) there are other ways you can prevent bike theft. Apparently, Since 1984, the National Bike Registry (NBR®) works with law enforcement to return stolen bikes to their rightful owners for more than 30 years now. Not many people knows about this, unfortunately. A bike registered with NBR, the only true national database, can be identified by police and returned to you instead of being sold at an auction. If your bike is ever stolen and recovered, no matter where, it can be returned to you. You can get your baby registered for 10 years for $10. That’s totally worth it.
